And then, there was LOVE!

Greeting ST Bloggers,

We all know that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Valentine’s Day happens to be one of Sincerely Teia’s busiest holidays. I get tons of requests from clients to create custom cards for their significant other. But is Valentine’s Day the only day of the year to let your significant other know that they are loved?

Absolutely not! Sincerely Teia is overjoyed that some still believe in romance and chivalry. I am always thrilled when clients contact me to create LOVE on paper.!

I would like to share two recent projects inspired by LOVE.

“Property of LOVE” intricate details: This card is daring, fiery, sensual, and vibrant. Embellished with colorful sequins, bold bloom ribbon, lace paper doilies, and metallic cardstock. For some reason, I feel Rihanna would love this card. So what ya think Miss Rih-Rih? ***Wink***

“Victoria Love XOXO” intricate details: Not only does this make a beautiful card, but it also would make gorgeous wedding invitations. Embellished with a crystallized Victorian flower, lace, ribbon, metal charms, and metallic cardstock. This card is so Victorian, possessing such a rich undertone; why wouldn’t she feel like a queen? ***Wink***

Enjoy!

"Shabby Chic" and "A Touch of Elegance" Stationery Sets

As many of you know, I absolutely HEART shabby chic creations! But what you may not know is out of all the stationery sets I have created for my clients; I have yet to create any for myself. However, when I finally decide to create a custom stationery set for myself, this design ranks high on my “must have” list.

When designing these sets, I wanted to have two different tones; one shabby chic and the other a touch of elegance. I embellished brown sandwich bags and filled them with coordinating note cards. When I think of the recipient opening their note card, I am reminded of goodies in a goody-bag!

“Shabby Chic” intricate details: vintage distressed custom name plates, buttons, twine, ribbon, and scallop trim.

“A Touch of Elegance” intricate details: metallic gold distressed custom name plates, flowers, pearls, ribbon, and scallop trim.

Oh, to receive a “special note” from Tracey! Wonder who will be the lucky recipient?

Enjoy!

Oh Baby, Baby, Baby!

Look what the New Year brought in…Oh, Baby, Baby, Baby!

One of my favorite themes to create within is the Baby theme. It is such a fun, charming theme to create; cute as a button! I often get Baby theme requests for baby shower invitations, baby announcements, congratulations on a pregnancy, welcome baby, and even baby wall art. Here are two projects that I’ve recently created:

“Oh Baby!” intricate card details: couture baby, blue, green, white, and mocha color scheme, buttons, flowers, and ribbon explosion. I see congratulatory fireworks!

“Safari Sport Baby” intricate wall art details: color scheme matches client’s baby bedding, custom bamboo paper rolls, 3-dimensional multi-layered embellishments.

Enjoy!

Happy Retirement!

Greetings ST Bloggers!

I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and a great start for the New Year 2011! Today is 1-11-11, so not only is this year the year for #1s, but today is also the day for #1s. With that being said, I must present to you with the finest #1 quality artistry!

I recently had a client to order a custom “Happy Retirement” card and the first thing that came to mind was, “What a way to end one year and begin another!” All I could think of was the recipient of this custom greeting kicking back, sipping hot coffee, having a late brunch, and watching television! Retirement is definitely a momentous occasion to celebrate. I feel it is a time when you transition from doing what is required to doing more of what you love to do. It is a time when you celebrate your accomplishments and reap the rewards of all your hard work.

To everyone who has been blessed to experience retirement, “life after work,” I congratulate you; “Happy Retirement!”

“Happy Retirement” intricate details: mocha and mint color scheme, scalloped tiered design, vintage flower, and organza ribbons.

I hope they gave her some rich chocolates to go with this rich design! ; )

Enjoy!
